Which home hair coloring kit has the highest strength developer?

I want to dye a lace wig that is currently jet black. To make a long story short, it was made in China and was probably dyed with clothing dye. :(


I want to bring it up to a deep auburn with highlights. I've tried dying it with a box kit once before and saw no change whatsoever. Which kit has the highest strength or are they all about the same?Which home hair coloring kit has the highest strength developer?
you can try a clothes dye remover first then color. jet black is hard to reverse though
