My how do I remove old hair coloring from hair without bleaching?

I dyed my hair a few months ago and my natural hair is half grown back I want to highlight my hair without dying it buy how do i do that when half my hair is like a brownish red.My how do I remove old hair coloring from hair without bleaching?
i am a stylist and national educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems....you dont do anything! this is a very complex situation that you will only make worse if you try to do it yourself... go to your stylist and let them know what you want to accomplish, however, there is nothing that can be done without using some sort of chemical i.e bleach, or color remover, then your hair will have to be re-colored to the desired shade. short of cutting off the previously colored hair, this is your only option. sorry.My how do I remove old hair coloring from hair without bleaching?
You have to go to a hair dresser and have your hair stripped. Im not exactly sure what the process is or how much it cost, but a friend of mine has had it done.
