Can i change my hair color back after coloring it too dark?

I was wearing my hair color a light light brown with redish highlights, i got it cut and decided to go back to my natural color brown. I colored it too too dark and hate it can i go back and lighten it again or will my hair fall out? And if so how soon?Can i change my hair color back after coloring it too dark?

It will fall out if you use bleach.
you can get it fixed. it should be fine. just dont get in the habit of dying it too often.
you'd have to get it bleached and then die the colour on top of it
