Would cutting my hair to short make my hair coloring bill any less?

ok well every 6-7 weeks i go get my hair redone at regis hair salon and I pay about $150. It's like 6 inchs past my shoulders right now. Would getting it cut to my shoulders or shorter make my bill less?Would cutting my hair to short make my hair coloring bill any less?
Some salons say yes and some say no. You would really have to ask them. But generally if you think about it in terms of box color, if you need one box it will be one price, if you would need two it would be twice as much, etc. I know you get it done professionally, I was just making an example.If you went to just about the top of your shoulder, it should cut the cost about half as much though. Yes, it would definitely make it cheaper, because they charge by length. I can't say exactly by how much, you'd have to call them and ask, or call around other places and see how much. But anything at your shoulders or above would be cheaper, maybe around $80? It sounds like you are also going to an expensive place! Somewhere cheaper and with a shorter haircut could be around $60? Really every place is different but the answer to your question, yes, shorter hair will make your coloring bill less.
the usually dye it before they cut it, but if your hair was shorter, then they would have to use less dye, and they would have less work to do, so it should be less. my hair lady charges me alot because i have long thick hair and she says its really time consuming, shorter hair should be easier to work on. so i would say yes, it would be less depending on how short it is
no it wouldnt, sorry, I hate that because it takes less dye when your hair is shorter, but they still charge the same. I hear you, its expensive.
I'm not sure how much cheaper it would be there is less to hair to colour so the salon doesn't have to use as much dye so it will me cheaper!
