Is it ok to use drug store box hair coloring?

I saw this pretty color in the store, that I want to put on my hair. But is it best to get it done professionally which cost like 100.00. Which one is the safest to do? would you use a box hair color?Is it ok to use drug store box hair coloring?
it usually doesnt turn out, about 4 years ago i turned my hair green, and i didnt do anything that wasnt supposed to be done, i will never do it again..i will just pay whatever to have a professional take care of my hair..because when it messed up i had to go spend 5 hours at the salon and nearly 200 dollars to have it stripped, deep conditioned, and re-colored..so its definetly cheaper in the long run to have a professional take care of it..Is it ok to use drug store box hair coloring?
If you do decide to use the inexpensive hair color (I have for years), be sure not to skimp on the shampoo and conditioners you use. When I switched to products made specifically for color-treated hair, I found there was a huge difference in the texture, color and light-reflecting qualities in my hair.
I use hair colour from boxes and it always works out well. You have to re-dye it every six weeks or so to cover your roots, so if you have it done at a salon you'll be paying a lot!

get a professional. I get my haired colored and tinted and it only costs like $60.00.

yes you can, just foow the directions on the box, use a timer and have someone help you (same as getting your hair permed)

I have used hair dye from wallgreens and it works fine.
I would but just make sure it's from a good company like Garnier or Loreal.
