Your normal hair color.Whats the best hair coloring for covering up hilights?

Get a color closest to your own natural color. This will eliminate most highlights but, it will not cover all just darken them. No one has a ONE color hair . Everyone has highlights, normally.
You can get a darker rinse so you wont mess it up and then when you get a chance go to the salon and let them do the permanent coloring coverup. Be careful with hair coloring it is more damaging than we are made to believe. Its almost like putting a perm in your head the chemicals will make your hair fall out.
