What can you recommend for damaged hair coloring?

So I colored my hair, well I first had black with red highlights well I decided to change it up I wanted brown with blond highlights, without having to pay hundreds of dollars going to a salon, well I listened to the lady at a beauty shop who said for me to bleach all my hair, well now its half brown from the roots only and the rest stayed black, what so I do? What can you recommend for damaged hair coloring?
Go to the salon, have them strip your hair of all color, re-dye it to the closest color possible to your natural hair color and leave it alone. Get regular trims, and stay away from over the counter dye. I played with my hair way too much, and I am finally learning that this is the only solution to make my hair healthy again. I used every dye under the sun trying to get my hair to look healthy by dying it. Didn't work. Get a professional.
