What are the different types of hair coloring?

I'm going to dye my hair soon(:


My hair is layered %26amp; about 7 in. below shoulders with side bangs and it's dark brown which looks almost black.


I've dyed my bottom hair with streaks of purple(: It was cute %26amp; now it's faded to a light brown color.


I am not thinking about dying my whole entire hair.





So i want to know what are the different types of hair dying such as, higlight, lowlights, streaks etc?
