Depending on which matrix brand it is u might need the matrix activator cuz martix sync uses a different developer and will not work with anyother. Matrix is mixed 1:1 ratio if u use three oz of color then u use three oz of developerHow do you mix Matrix Hair coloring that comes in a tube?
Matrix is for professional use only because you need to know about color in order to use it properly. It is not mixed with peroxide. You have to know how much to use of each product, what levels to use, how long to leave it on for, how/when to apply it to certain parts of the hair, etc, etc, etc. I would also need to know what kind you are using, what color your hair is, if you have outgrowth, how much grey you have, if you have color on your hair already, if you've ever colored your hair before, if you have relaxed or permed your hair, if you've used bleach, how long your hair is, etc, etc, etc. It's better than box color from the store, but you need to know what your doing in order to get the right color. Sorry, I can't help you out, there's not enough info, %26amp; this color is for professional use only.

Matrix is not always a 1:1 ratio - it's different if you use a Booster, Color Additives, Extra Blonding, Ultra Light Blondes, or Prizms Plus.
