Hair coloring?

I have the worst time coloring my hair, because it never goes the way I want it to. I want to have like a dirty blonde, but the ends keep turning a brownish-dark red color. If I have enough money I'll get it done professionally, but if I don't, any suggestions on what I can do?Hair coloring?
ok so heres wat u do (ive ahd the same problem! so frustrating) first, as u may kno, DONT EVER PUT LEMON IN UR HAIR! my best friend did that,and well her hair frizzed out 4ever. then she had 2 wait until it grew out and it was a big mess.....ugh. k so try looking up, in ur area, a good but cheap salon. trust me u can find some, ther r a TON in my area, then tell them the EXACT color u want (dont leave out any details!!!!) if it doesnt turn out rite, point it out to them, they shuld fix it, if they dont then...well idk, people always try to fix it for me. i really hope u get it rite! trust me ther is nuthin worse than gettin it wrong!!!! You would be better off asking a hair dresser they will tell you what your options are.
Buy a color filler... They are around $7 and they make ur hair turn the right color.
