Hair coloring?

am planning to dye my hair again with a store bought brand. Which brands are the best? i used Clairol natural instincts dark brown chestnut color last time, but sinced i have black hair, and i wanted to dye it dark brown, it didnt come out as light as i wanted it to. The box says only leave the dye in for 10 minutes, but if i leave it in longer, will more color come out? does 10 minutes really do the trick? or if i leave the dye in longer will the color come out better? thanks for all your help

when you have black hair and you want it to be a little bit lighter you have to go with t pro that do it for you, because if you do it yourself you will stain it.


I know because I have that same problem.
well you should go one step lighter each month until you like the color,you can go to clairol.com and go to the place where you can see what you look like with different colors
If you have black hairs and you want them light brown then use blonde colour it makes black hairs light brown.....you can try a bit at the tip of your hairs before applying to rest of your head......:)
